This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you visit Homearr, use its search features, or contact us.
About this policy
This policy applies to the Homearr website and the search experience available through it. By using Homearr, you acknowledge the practices described here. This policy forms part of the terms that govern the service, and terms used here may have the meanings assigned in the Terms of Use or EULA.
Information we process
Website delivery information
Hosting and security systems may process routine technical details needed to deliver and protect the site. These details can include an IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language, requested page, referring page, approximate location, and the date and time of a request.
Search and suggestion information
When you use autocomplete, the words you type are sent by your browser to Wikipedia’s suggestion service. When you submit a search, your search words and ordinary connection information are sent to Seeklumo, which opens in a separate tab. Each provider handles information under its own policies and operational practices.
Information you provide directly
If you contact us, we may receive your email address, message, attachments, and any other information you choose to include. Please provide only the information reasonably necessary for your request.
How information is used
Information under our control may be used to operate and secure Homearr, respond to questions, investigate technical or misuse reports, maintain necessary business records, comply with legal duties, and improve the reliability of the service. Homearr does not maintain user profiles or a first-party database of saved searches.
Cookies and local storage
The Homearr page does not set first-party cookies and does not use localStorage or sessionStorage. Services reached through autocomplete or search may use cookies or similar technologies on their own systems. You can manage those technologies through your browser settings and the controls offered by the relevant third party.
Sharing and disclosure
Information may be processed by providers that support website delivery, suggestions, search results, security, and email communications. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, answer valid legal process, enforce agreements, investigate fraud or abuse, protect people or property, or complete a merger, sale, financing, or similar business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell personal information collected through direct support correspondence.
International processing
Service providers may operate in countries other than the one where you live. As a result, information can be processed in locations with different privacy laws. Where applicable law requires it, appropriate measures will be used for information transferred under our control.
Your choices and rights
You may choose not to use autocomplete, submit a search, or send an email. Depending on your location, you may also have rights concerning personal information under our control, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability, and the right to complain to a data-protection authority.
To make a privacy request, email hello@homearr.com. We may request enough information to verify your identity and understand the request.
Retention and security
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was received, to protect the service, resolve disputes, maintain appropriate records, or meet legal requirements. Reasonable safeguards may be used for information under our control, but no online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
Homearr is not directed to children under 13 and is not intended to knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided information directly to us, contact us so the matter can be reviewed.
Do Not Track
Because there is no uniform technical standard for browser “Do Not Track” signals, Homearr does not currently respond to them. You can still use browser privacy controls and choose whether to use third-party search features.
Policy changes
We may revise this policy when the service, providers, or legal requirements change. The updated version will appear on this page with a revised date. Continued use after an update means the revised policy applies from its stated effective date.
