Homearr offers a simple starting point for a web search. These terms set the ground rules for using that starting point.
Welcome
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to the Homearr website, search box, suggestion experience, and related pages. “Homearr,” “we,” and “us” refer to the service operator. “You” refers to the person using the service. By using Homearr, you agree to these Terms, the EULA, and the Privacy Policy.
Who may use the service
You must be able to form a binding agreement under the law that applies to you. Homearr is not directed to children under 13. If you use Homearr for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
What Homearr does
Homearr is a browser-based search entry page. Once you type at least two characters, your browser may request suggestions from Wikipedia’s OpenSearch service. When you submit a search, your browser opens a results page provided through Seeklumo. Homearr does not control the contents, ranking, availability, or safety of those third-party services.
Your part of the arrangement
You agree to use Homearr lawfully and with reasonable care. You will not use the service to:
- violate another person’s rights or applicable law;
- transmit malware, destructive instructions, or deceptive material;
- circumvent access controls or test vulnerabilities without permission;
- interfere with the site, its supporting infrastructure, or another user;
- operate abusive automated traffic or scrape the interface at a disruptive rate.
Searches, suggestions, and external pages
Suggestions are prompts, not endorsements or verified answers. Search results and destination pages may be inaccurate, objectionable, unavailable, or unsuitable for your purpose. Review third-party content independently before relying on it, downloading anything, sharing information, or completing a transaction.
Your interactions with an external site are between you and that site. Homearr is not responsible for third-party products, content, advertising, security practices, or disputes.
Availability and changes
We may maintain, modify, restrict, suspend, or discontinue any part of Homearr without guaranteeing prior notice. We may also change suggestion or search providers. Temporary interruptions and errors can occur, and uninterrupted access is not promised.
Intellectual property
Homearr and its original presentation are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Your permission to use them is defined by the EULA. Nothing in these Terms gives Homearr ownership of the words you type into the search field.
Disclaimers
Homearr is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant suggestions, results, or any third-party page.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect, special, incidental, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profit, opportunity, or goodwill, arising from Homearr or an external service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited only to the extent the law permits. Your non-waivable rights remain intact.
Your responsibility for misuse
To the extent permitted by law, you will be responsible for losses and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of Homearr or a material violation of these Terms. This obligation does not apply to losses caused by the service operator’s own conduct.
Resolving concerns
Before starting a formal dispute, please send a clear description of the concern to hello@homearr.com and allow a reasonable opportunity for an informal resolution. This does not prevent either party from seeking urgent relief or using rights that cannot be waived.
Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms when the service, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Continued use after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where allowed by law.
Closing details
